Licensing & editions
Community Edition is Apache-2.0. The ISO and kctl are on GitHub Releases. There is no subscription. It is for labs, evaluation, and contributors.
A subscription pays for the signed distribution, the enterprise update channel, tested releases, and support. It does not change the Apache-2.0 licence on the public core.
